Krista Capobianco, LCSW (She/Her)

Lead Therapist and Owner

Hi, I’m Krista! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Calm-ish Counseling! I specialize in working with adolescents/teens, women navigating life’s challenges & parents who are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or just over it. Therapy with me is laid-back, supportive, and real. Whether your teenager is struggling with anxiety, you’re a mom trying to hold it all together, or you’re a woman feeling stuck or burned out. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, mindfulness & practical coping skills to help with overall confidence and functioning in daily life.
I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic space where you can fully be yourself. I'm not a "nodding therapist". I will meet you with compassion, I’ll also gently challenge you to grow and take steps toward your goals at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Nicole Reano       (She/Her)

Director

Hi - I am Nicole and I am the Director of this cruise ship! I’m currently finishing up my bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and have spent over ten years working in healthcare. I helped open this office with my childhood best friend & sister in law Krista because while I’m not a clinician, I bring both professional experience and a personal understanding of the therapy process. I’ve been in therapy myself for many years, so I truly value how important it is to feel safe, supported, and comfortable.

Behind the scenes, I work closely with our clinicians to help create the warm, welcoming space you’ll feel when you walk through our doors. I’m also here for anything administrative—questions, scheduling, billing, or anything in between—and I’m always happy to help however I can. If you ever need anything at Calm-ish, I’m your go-to—don’t hesitate to find me!

Perla Contreras   (She/Her)

CMHC Intern

HI! My name is Perla Contreras, and I am a counseling intern currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. I have experience working with adolescents and adults & I draw from therapeutic approaches I am continuing to develop under supervision. That includes person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy & psychodynamic approaches. I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and professional growth, and I strive to offer a thoughtful, individualized approach that honors who you are and what you bring into the therapeutic space.  My hope is to provide a warm, supportive & nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and not alone as you explore what matters
most to you.

Hazel                      (She/Her)

Therapy Dog In-Training

I'm Hazel and I am training to become a Therapy Dog! Sometimes you will see me around the office playing with my toys or lounging in my bed. My favorite thing to do is cuddle up on your lap and take a nap.

I am sweet and sassy so if you want to meet me - just ask your therapist before your next visit!

Grayson Arduini (He/Him)

CMHC Intern

Hi! My name is Grayson Arduini, I am a counseling intern completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wingate University.  I am hoping to work with young and emerging adults, but I am open to all ages. I am developing my theoretical approaches but find myself drawing from CBT, DBT, and other behavioral theories. I am continuing to develop my skills under supervision. I love to meet people where they are, you are in control and I am here to help guide. I understand that each and every person is different and I am willing to be flexible with what you need in each moment. I love to do crafts, puzzles, or games in my sessions as well if that is something you're interested in! Therapy does not have to be just sitting across from each other talking, it can be what you need it to be. I also am a safe space for all.

Delaney Widgeon (She/Her)

CMHC Intern

Hello! I am Delaney Widgeon and I am a counseling intern here at

Calm-ish Counseling. I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Heath Counseling at Wingate University.

I am ready to work with everyone but I am most excited to work with people in the LGBTQIA+ community. I also have experience working with kids and love helping young minds. I am still developing a theory to work from but would like to operate from a person-centered framework.

I want to talk about what you need to talk about. We want to meet people where they are. I am here to give you what you need in the moment.

I love to draw and create and offer activities during session. Therapy can look many different ways. No matter what we decide to do, you will always have a safe, comfortable space with me.

Everyone is welcome.
